Acclaimed artist Rachel Sussman, widely known for her New York Times best-selling book chronicling her decade-long project The Oldest Living Things in the World, will talk about the intersection of science, beauty and time in her work as part of the Synapse Lecture series at the Akron Art Museum on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 6:30 P.M.

NOTE: Vicki Wert and her husband [Cleveland Photographic Society members or past members] are having a photograph exhibition at the Freedson Gallery in the lobby of the Winton Place Condo on Lake Road. The Wert’s are both superb photographers who have traveled the world and have won many first place awards at CPS. I believe the exhibition is on till the end of the month. (info provided by Robert Parry) You may wish to stop if you are in the area and check out their work.
